Outreach Co-ordinator & Tennis Coach

Assist in identifying community venues to deliver new innovative tennis sessions targeting underrepresented communities who don’t engage in tennis. You will work with the tennis coordinator to develop new community partnerships initiating contact and will deliver agreed sessions on a weekly basis. The job will consist of office administration work and on court delivery.


Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to express ideas and opinions to others in a clear and concise way using appropriate forms of communication.

Good IT skills, proficient in using word and outlook, capable of using cloud based programmes such as One Drive and Google Drive.

Flexibility, Whilst we try to set out regular working patterns we do add community programmes in different areas within Islington. Having coaches who are prepared to help run these additional sessions including holiday camps is invaluable.

Team player, able to coach a session as part of a team supporting other coaches.

Self motivated and reliable, you always deliver the sessions you commit to and you do so to a high standard.

Punctual with good attendance, always on time to set up and prepare for a session.

Great people skills, you are an engaging coach who makes sessions fun and you motivate people to keep returning and taking part.


Qualified as an LTA referee and experienced running matchplays, club events and Grade 5 & 4 tournaments.

Licence driver

Trained to deliver TFK(2018), Cardio, Tennis Tuesdays.

Familiar with using Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint

Hours available: 20 hours minimum per week including weekends.

Hourly Rate: (dependent on qualifications and experience)
