Tennis Coach

We are looking for a new coach to join our team. The ideal candidate should be self motivated, passionate, someone who would enjoy working with juniors and adults. Applicants should have an LTA level 2 tennis coach qualification or higher and be accredited with the LTA.

The position will primarily be based at the park courts at Finsbury Park, N4. However, we are looking to expand our outreach programme and would like coaches who would be happy to run sessions away from the courts using Multi Use Games Area's in housing estates and deliver school sessions.


Flexibility, Whilst we try to set out regular working patterns we do add community programmes in different areas within Islington. Having coaches who are prepared to help run these additional sessions including holiday camps is invaluable.

Team player, able to coach a session as part of a team supporting other coaches.

Self motivated and reliable, you always deliver the sessions you commit to and you do so to a high standard.

Punctual with good attendance, always on time to set up and prepare for a session.

Great people skills, you are an engaging coach who makes sessions fun and you motivate people to keep returning and taking part.


Qualified as an LTA referee and experienced running match-plays, club events and Grade 5 & 4 tournaments.

Holder of a cliean driving license

Trained to deliver TFK(2018), Cardio, Tennis Tuesdays.

Hours available: 8 hours minimum per week including Sunday mornings 9am - 12 noon during term time.

Hourly Rate: from £15 ph (dependant on qualifications)

Additional Benefits: Free and low cost internal CPD courses (dependant on our timetable) including safeguarding and first aid. Access to give individuals using our courts (for level 3 coaches or above) with profile exposure on our website.
