The philosophy of the project is to develop tennis and increase the participation from all sections of the community in particular those not participating and underrepresented. This includes people from low income and disadvantage backgrounds, BAME groups and those with a learning and/or physical disability.

School Outreach

We work with a number of primary and secondary schools across Hackney, Islington and Haringey delivering tennis as part of the curriculum timetable. We also run breakfast and after-school clubs. We are always interested in creating new school partnerships. If you are a teacher or parent of a local school within Islington, Hackney or Haringey and would be interested in seeing tennis delivered at your school please contact us

Community programmes

We work with other charities and local community projects to outreach to under represented groups.
Below are a number of our projects:

A cycling club based within Finsbury Park. It is an inclusive club that provides adaptive bikes for people with a learning or physical disability. Every Tuesday during term time we run a drop in tennis session for their members. To find out more about Pedal Power visit their website

Corker Walk Estate

Age UK Islington

Through our collaboration with age UK we run weekly sessions for adults aged over 55. A mixture of mini tennis and full court tennis allows us to cater for adults of all abilities and levels of mobility.
